A game jam means developing a game prototype in a short amount of time (usually 48 hours) with people you just got to know! It’s a great opportunity to try any aspect of game development.

Of course, a game needs programming and visual design, but there are many other task as well, such as level design, sound design or writing. There is something to do for everyone! And don’t worry: Franken Game Jam is no competition.

It’s mostly about meeting a bunch of cool people and being creative for one weekend! Learning new skills is a nice and non-avoidable side effect! Check out the Extra Credits video below for some great insight on what game jams are about!
